How far in advance should I book a custom safari?
We recommend booking 3-6 months ahead for peak season (July-October) to secure top lodges. For low season (March-May), 2-3 months is usually fine. Last-minute trips are possible but lodge choices may be limited.
What does a tailor-made safari cost?
Custom safaris range from $250/day (budget camping) to $1,500+/day (ultra-luxury lodges). Most mid-range safaris with comfortable lodges cost $400-$700 per person per day. Your quote includes all park fees, accommodation, meals, transport, and guide.
Can I combine a safari with Kilimanjaro or Zanzibar?
Absolutely — this is one of the most popular requests. A typical combo is 5-7 days safari + 3-4 days Zanzibar beach, or 7 days Kilimanjaro + 4 days safari. We handle all the logistics between destinations.
Is there a minimum group size for a custom safari?
No minimum. We run private safaris for solo travelers, couples, families, and groups of any size. Solo travelers get a dedicated vehicle and guide — you'll never be paired with strangers unless you want to be.
What if I need to change my dates after booking?
We offer flexible date changes at no extra cost up to 60 days before departure. Within 60 days, we'll do our best to accommodate changes subject to lodge availability. Full cancellation terms are provided with your quote.
