We've carefully selected destinations that are close together to minimize driving and maximize game viewing. This itinerary focuses on the "Crater Highlands" region within easy reach of Arusha. You'll see elephants by the hundreds in Tarangire, search for the famous tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater - often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World." While you won't reach the Serengeti (it's simply too far for a short trip), you'll experience three outstanding parks and have excellent chances of seeing all of Africa's Big Five.
